"I gained some weight with my pregnancy like most women do. Ok, let’s be honest. I gained 65 pounds! Ridiculous, right? Well, after all the initial giving birth weight came off, I was still carrying around an extra 40 pounds. I wasn’t too concerned about it, because I was a breastfeeding mom – the new mom’s miracle diet. Lucky me, I apparently am one of the few that is resistant to the miracle diet drug of breastfeeding. Despite breastfeeding, watching my calorie intake and exercising, I only lost 10 pounds in eleven months. I was getting frustrated of trying so hard and not seeing any significant results. I’m not unrealistic about weight loss; I knew it would take a while to come off. At my weight, eating 1,500 calories on top of exercising, I should have been shedding at least 2 pounds a week – not 1 pound a month! I really can’t remember how I ran across the Fit 4 Mom Facebook. I think I was trying to find a Stroller Strides class in our area when it popped up. Instead of Stroller Strides, I saw information for a new group forming – Momma Wants Her Body Back. I decided to sign up, but my husband lovingly (of course) told me not to get my hopes up. I think he had seen how frustrated I had been the past several months, and didn’t want me to think this was going to be the answer. Well, I am proud to say I proved him WRONG! In just 8 weeks, I lost 10 pounds, 2.5 inches from my waist, 2.5 inches from my hips, and 1.5 inches off each thigh! Not to mention, my fitness ability increased over fifty percent. So, not only had I lost pounds and inches, I was healthier for it. The meal plan is so easy to use, and if you fall off the wagon a few times (like I did!) it’s not hard to get back on the program. In all honesty, I didn’t even follow the exercise plan as much as it asked for, and I still got amazing results. You will bond with an amazing group of moms that will encourage and push you to limits you didn’t know you could reach. You will learn to be stronger mentally, so you can make it through those long, trying days as a mom. If you’re looking for a real change, not just your normal workout class you can find at a gym, Momma Wants Her Body Back is for you! When the class is over, it doesn’t end there. They equip you for success. You’ve learned how to eat healthy, and they provide you with great workout DVDs. That way you can continue your exercise program at home. If you can’t tell, I LOVED this program, and so thankful that this Momma got her body back!"
