The Finish Line....The Beginning

I'm a little behind in posting this, but better late than never! I finished my eight-week journey through the Body Back Program! I could not be more pleased with the results!

I lost 12lbs and 11 inches total! I have pushed myself even when no one was around to eat well and get a hard workout in. I've even had several people mention, not just the weight loss, but that I looked stronger and more fit!

The best part, though (and the one the data can't measure), is the inner strength and confidence I've gained from this experience! It's a total shift in perspective! Since beginning Body Back, I've had several encounters with people I've known a long time telling me, "There's something different about you!" One friend said, "This is a way more confident you than I've ever seen before. You're still yourself, just a stronger version." What a compliment! I feel more willing to take on challenges and more open to the rewards of pushing past my comfort zone physically and emotionally!

Since finishing the program, I have continued to lose weight, maintain healthy eating habits, and push past my limits. I am training for a half-marathon and coaching a lovely group of moms through their Body Back journey also! This was not an eight-week period of my life that I'm putting behind me now. This has been a lifestyle change! I hit the goals I wanted for the duration of the Body Back program, but I've learned that I can't be stopped, so I've set higher goals now and I WILL be successful!
